We are looking for an enthusiast individual to join our exciting Sales Department liaising with our customers to book them on a sports trip of a lifetime.
Your role will include:
– Answering customer enquiries and confirming bookings.
– Working with the Operations team to create tailored itineraries for customers.
– Proactively generating sales and attending expo/events talking directly with customers.
– General administration duties such as processing payments, database management and monitoring insurance sales.
Anyone looking to take on this role will work well within a team, organised, able to mange many tasks at once, and keep positive and creative mind in a fast past environment. You will need to have a good understanding of Microsoft Office programmes.

Cycle Tour Host, Austria – July/August 2017 – Freewheel Holidays
Freewheel Holidays is a specialist cycle holiday provider based in Manchester. For over 17 years we have been providing cycling holidays for family’s and cycling enthusiast across UK and Europe. The hallmarks of Freewheel Holidays have always been customer care and our Cycle Hosts are key to this holiday experience. Freewheel are now looking to add to our experienced Host team:
Freewheel Hosts play a multi faceted role – They are guides, translators, mechanics, cyclists, friends, diplomats, nurse, researcher and presenters….. Above all hosts are “people persons”, with an ability to relate to our guests, to support and delight them.
Based in Bad Aussee in the Austrian Alps the job role includes:
- Bag Transfers between hotels
- Airport collections and drop offs to Salzburg Airport
- Maintenance of the bike fleet
- Host welcome drinks on arrival
- Be the main point of contact for any clients whilst in resort. Assist with any issue that may arise during there stay.
The Successful Candidate will:
- Hold a full driving licence
- Cycle enthusiast

- First Aid Qualified
- German Speaker

For the 2017 season we will be recruiting for outgoing, sports-minded individuals who are able to work on our overseas cycling events as bike mechanic. We are looking for someone with Cytech or similar qualifications. Even though qualifications are important, for us experience is equally important so get in touch if you have worked with a team, in a shop or at your cycling club. Please note that this is only casual work so only a few times a year, in line with the dates of our various events. Sports Tours International manages a number of sports events in the Manchester and Liverpool area, such as the City of Manchester 10k, the City of Salford 10k and the Aintree Grand 10k. We are always in need of Volunteer Marshalls to help with the events and to cheer on competitors, whilst enabling them to compete in a safe environment.
