SHERPR is the best way to travel light but with lots of luggage, offering a low cost, maximum convenience alternative to carrying it with you. SHERPR offer a direct ‘Home to Hotel’ collection and delivery service allowing you to take up to 30kg per suitcase, bike box or bag, wheel bag etc. You will travel with hand luggage only safe in the knowledge that someone else is doing all the heavy lifting.
Everything is sent directly to your hotel, your home or specific address and is guaranteed to arrive the day before you do. A luggage tracking function is available via the website or mobile phone and an E-mail alert service is provided, informing each customer that their luggage is waiting for them at their chosen delivery point.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
1. SCHEDULE YOUR SHIPMENT
With SHERPR, getting a quote and shipping your sports equipment is fast and simple. To get a quote, simply select the collection and delivery country, relevant date(s) and number of each item(s) and click ‘Get Quote’.
To schedule your shipment, click ‘Buy Now’ to go to our easy-to-use booking form. Fill in the required fields, ensuring to specify your pick-up and delivery address(s) and contact numbers; your equipment can be picked up from your home, office or sports club. Select ‘Add Items’, ensure you have checked our maximum weights and dimensions, and select the quantity of Premium boxes with your preferred pick up date.
Once you have completed your booking, SHERPR will contact you directly to arrange a pick-up time slot that is convenient for you.
2. RECEIVE AND ATTACH YOUR LABELS SECURELY
You will receive electronic copies of your labels which can be found in your email confirmation. Please print off and attach your labels securely to your packaging. If you have booked a round trip shipment, attach your outbound label for your outbound trip. Please take your return label with you for your return journey.
3. PREPARE YOUR BAGS/SHERPR BOXES
The SHERPR bespoke Premium packaging allows your equipment to travel safely and securely. They will send your Premium box(es) ahead of time with tape, shipping label(s) and manual once the order has been completed. Simply place your item(s) in the box, secure with the tape and attach your labels in a visible place.You can include other items, as long as it adheres to SHERPR’s weight and goods restrictions.
4. COLLECTION OF ITEM(S)
One of the SHERPR trusted couriers will collect your item(s) within the specified pickup window from your designated pick-up address. Please ensure your item(s) are correctly packed, labelled and readily available for the driver by the start of your pick-up window.
5. TRACK YOUR SHIPMENTS
Once your item(s) have been collected, it will be trackable throughout the journey using your tracking number provided in your SHERPR confirmation email. On the Home Page, simply click ‘Track’ and enter your tracking number to track your item(s). If you have any questions about tracking, please contact our customer support team on firstname.lastname@example.org where they will be happy to assist you in any way they can.
Please note that if you want to ship a bike, you have to use a bike box with the following maximum dimensions: 120 x 30 x 75 cm. If you don’t have your own bike box but you want an economical solution to buying or renting one then SHERPR provide the below re-usable bike transport solution.
WHY USE A BIKE BOX?
Due to popular demand, SHERPR have created bespoke, reusable bike boxes that ensures the safety of your bike during transit. These bike boxes are 120 x 30 x 75 cm and allow for a maximum weight of 30kg. They have been specifically designed with couriers’ specifications in mind that allow shipments to move without any delays or extra fees, and avoid being mishandled.
HOW MUCH ARE THEY AND WHAT’S INCLUDED?
The SHERPR reusable bike boxes are £37.99. You will also receive six styrene blocks, two heavy-duty polythene bags for your wheels, foam piping to protect your frame, box tape, cable ties and if you are shipping with us, your shipment labels.
HOW DO I RECEIVE IT/ THEM?
You can select your desired quantity of bike boxes during the booking process under ‘items’, before proceeding to checkout. Your box can be with you as soon as the next day and can be tracked every step of the way. Your bike box will arrive ready-made, with an instructions manual on how to disassemble and safely pack your bike.
WHAT ARE THEY MADE OF?
The bike boxes are manufactured in 300 Test Kraft Double Wall C Flute Cardboard for maximum strength and lined with 25mm thick polystyrene sheets on all four sides of the interior for additional protection and durability. We will provide you with additional styrene blocks so that you can secure your bike into place.
HOW DO I DISASSEMBLE MY BIKE?
In order to fit your bike into one of these bike boxes, you will need to disassemble your bike. This includes removing the saddle, pedals, handle bars and wheels. Don’t worry, this process takes no more than 30 minutes and we’ll provide you with step by step instructions on how to do so.

What is SHERPR?
SHERPR is a no hassle door-to-door service for shipping your sports equipment. We send your equipment ahead of time allowing you to enjoy a hassle-free travel experience without the added stress of airports and airlines.
SHERPR is a one size fits all door to door service. Once booked, our service consists of a courier-approved, custom made box which comes with tape, shipping labels, a manual. These boxes are designed to further protect your valuable sports equipment. This box can then be used repeatedly.You may use your own bag, box or casing. However, please ensure to read the guidelines on what is deemed appropriate to avoid any delays or damages in your shipment.
Using SHERPR packaging:
SHERPR will send your labels for both arrival and the return to you electronically via a confirmation email.
SHERPR will send you your box, label(s), tape and manual via their couriers within 72 hours of your transit time. Please follow the manual on how to assemble the box. Once complete, secure your box together with the SHERPR tape provided, following the guide lines on the box. Then stick the label in a visible area. Please remember to take your tape and return label with you for your return journey.
Using your own packaging:
Once your bag has been packed and closed securely, apply the label in a visible area on the bag. Please ensure there are no loose handles or anything that can get caught – this is vital. If you have a return journey, we advise printing the return label before your departure and keeping it in a safe place throughout your trip.

“What about insurance?”
Insurance is not included. Please refer to your own travel insurance to see if you are covered or alternatively you will be able to purchase additional insurance with Sherpr. SHEPRR offers transit liability via the courier UPS. Their affiliated partnership with UPS covers transit liability for lost or damaged items. Pricing for this cover starts at the following:
- £6.99 = £500
- £9.99 = £1000
- £14.99 = £1500
- £19.99 = £2000

“Are my contents protected from loss or damage?”
While damage to packaging or its contents is rare, the SHERPR support team is here to help when you need them. If your equipment has arrived damaged, please contact SHERPR team immediately on email@example.com or call Sherpr on +44 (0) 2038849866. Please file claims within:
- 14 days of delivery of the Consignment in the case of damage to all or part of a Consignment or loss of part of a Consignment;
- and in all other cases (including, but not limited to, loss of the whole of a Consignment) within 28 days from when the Consignment was collected or received by us
- For any customer service complaints, within 14 days of your delivery date
Any complaints and refunds will be handled by the SHERPR customer service department and you should receive a response within 28 working days.
“What happens if I am not there in person to hand over or to collect my bike from the courier?”
Anyone can hand your bike to our courier for collections or deliveries, just to make it easier to get things moving. Hotels are used to receiving luggage and your bike and other luggage will be clearly labelled so they can see who it belongs to. When departing a hotel or other business address, anyone can give your bike/luggage to our courier so you can begin your journey home without delay.
“Where do I leave my luggage for my return journey?”
If you are departing from a hotel, your luggage needs to be with the hotel reception or concierge by 09:00am local time on your luggage collection day. Please advise them that your luggage will be collected that day.
“Who will collect my luggage?”
One of SHERPR’s courier partners will collect your luggage and take it to its destination.
