Meet Mick....
Mick has been a keen cyclist most of his life and he recently had the opportunity to take early retirement. Mick came to Sports Tours International as he was looking to further pursue his passion for cycling in particular with respect to helping others get involved and enjoy the sport. Mick successfully completed a Cytech Level 1 mechanics course and has since completed his Level 2 course followed by a wheel building course.
Mick has worked for us leading bespoke groups like a recent Land’s End to John O’Groats. He has also worked for us on the Tour de France, the Marmotte and the spring classics.
Some customer feedback for Mick
Mick was brilliant, being both organised and flexible which meant we had all the support we could have needed. He was also great at doing those little extras that make a difference, like getting plenty of photographs and sharing those with the group and holding our float so that if we had a cafe stop, rather than all pay individually, he paid the bill in a single transaction. – Route des Grandes Alpes
The support we had from Mick Stoodley was brilliant – nothing was to must to ask and he had a brilliant knack of appearing whenever we needed him. He was invaluable with mechanical issues, sorting out suitable stops for coffee stops and lunch and he even arranged for a group of school children to cheer us on as we passed through! This was truly a trip of a lifetime covering 3 countries and numerous counties and certainly has created memories which will stay with me forever. – Land’s End to John O’Groats
Mick provided very committed support, never tired of adapting plans when needed, again not always easy especially when the group spreads. Everyone on your team did a great job – Geneva to Nice
