Saturday, 9th July, 2022 – Stage 8 – Dole to Lausanne: 184km

Our itinerary
Today we will transfer you and your bike to view Stage 8 from Dole to Lausanne. Our experienced guides will prepare a route of approximately 40km which will finish at the Relais Etape hospitality venue. Those not riding will be taken directly to this venue.
This evening we will return to the Hotel Hilton Evian on the shores of Lake Geneva in Evian for our evening meal.
Relais Etape Hospitality
Today we offer the ‘Relais Etape’ experience. Enjoy a lunch in a comfortable setting with a large screen to watch today’s deciding stage. The ‘Relais Etape’ is an area on the course of a Tour de France stage which takes the form of a small village in a prime position along the route, just a few kilometres from the finish line.
This inspiring package mirrors the excitement of the race and includes:
- A clubhouse to accommodate all guests
- Welcome aperitif and unlimited buffet
- Entertainment and live coverage of the race on a giant screen
- Champagne celebration of the day’s action
- Tour de France gift

Sunday 10th July – Stage 9 – Aigle to Chatel las Portes du Soleil: 183km

Stage Nine, the final outing before the second Rest Day takes place almost entirely in Switzerland but finishes in France. This route takes the peloton 183km from Aigle, home to the UCI, to Chatel les Portes du Soleil. This features three challenging Alpine climbs in the final 85 kilometres and could suit a breakaway group.
We will then arrange a guided ride on the route of the Stage and complete the ‘ride across the finish line’ experience. You will finish hours before the professionals on closed roads and we will provide guided rides of between 40 and 50km on the race route.
Today, we will also have a prime position for the day at the official ‘Izoard’ finish hospitality venue. Watch the course on big TV screens before watching them finish LIVE from your prime viewing position near the finish.
Izoard finish line hospitality
The Tour de France sets up a limited number of areas located on course within the final portion of the stage. These have names like Izoard and Galibier. Access to these areas is usually reserved and by invitation only. You will see famous ex-cyclists, sponsors and team guests. Typically these areas are within 200 metres or so of the finish line. There is also a spectator friendly elevated viewing area. You will be served with drinks and snacks and there is a big screen to watch the LIVE action as it unfolds. After watching the finish, you will celebrate the victory with Champagne.
We will return to the Hotel Hilton Evian for our evening meal.
Monday 11th July, 2022 – Rest Day

Our itinerary
Today is the second rest day for the Peloton. We have multiple options available for you today. Our experienced guides will prepare a bespoke route according to our groups wishes. This could be the previous day’s full stage from Aigle to Chatel or a shortened version of this, taking in the major climbs of Col de Mosses (13.3km @ 4.1%) and Col de la Croix (8.1km at 7.6%).
There is an opportunity in the morning to visit the UCI Headquarters in Aigle and the museum (options are available as an extra). Subject to interest and availability we can look to arrange a ‘Track taster’ session at the 200m Velodrome or a sightseeing boat trip around Lake Geneva (excursion available as an extra).
This evening we will return to the Hotel Hilton Evian on the shores of Lake Geneva in Evian for our evening meal.
Tuesday 12th July, Stage 10 – Morzine to Megeve: 148km

Stage Ten. Taking place after the rest day, this stage features stunning mountain scenery, especially when the route runs alongside Lake Geneva before heading towards Megeve.
Today after an early breakfast we will organise our ride. The exact stage route will determine where we ride out to watch the action. This may be towards Megève or another challenging climb. Those not wishing to ride will be transferred to our viewing point.
Once we have watched the Tour riders pass we will return to our base in Evian by coach.
We will take our final evening meal at the Hotel together…
