The 2020 Vuelta a España was won by Primoz Roglic (Jumbo-Visma) who succesfully defended his 2019 title from the challenge of Richard Carapaz. The podium was completed by Great Britain’s Hugh Carthy, with a breakthrough performance.
The 2021 Vuelta a España wil start in Burgos on Saturday 14th August 2021, with a Time Trial starting from inside Burgos Cathedral. The Vuelta will conclude on Sunday 5th September, and, for 2021, will finish in Santiago de Compostela.
