The Etape du Tour is the only Cyclosportive that allows amateur riders to test themselves on closed roads on the exact same route as a Tour de France stage.
The 2019 Etape du Tour route will take place on Sunday 21 July on a 140km course between Albertville and Val Thorens. This is the same as stage 20 of the 2019 Tour de France on Saturday 27 July which is the deciding stage for the battle for the yellow jersey.
Sports Tours international has been taking cyclists from all over the world to ride the Etape since the days when entry was through paper application forms in Vélo Magazine! As an experienced official travel partner for the Tour de France and the Etape du Tour, our aim is always to make the logistics easy so all you need to do is focus on the cycling.
With top support from our staff, extra feed stops, convenient accommodation, transfers, overland bike transport and a host of other little extras, we’re here to help you get the most out of your Etape du Tour experience!
