The Valencia Triathlon is always one of the highlights of the World Triathlon calendar.

Split between the Port America's Cup marina area of Valencia and the Valencia Formula 1 track. It's a spectacular event and a firm fixture of triathlon races for years to come!

There is a choice of different triathlon formats in the Valencia Triathlon: a Super Sprint (300m swim, 8km bike, 2km run), a Sprint (750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run), an Olympic (1500m swim, 40km bike, 10km run) and a Women's triathlon. There is also a team event in both the Sprint and Olympic distances.

The Valencia Triathlon will take place in an incredible setting, near the Veles e Vents Building. The swim will be in the inner marina in Port America’s Cup. Spectators will have an excellent view of the whole swimming competition as well as of the transitions.

The cycling section will be made up of various laps of a route encompassing the swinging bridge used by the F1, the America’s Cup jetty, the rest of the Valencia F1 Street Circuit and the City of Arts and Sciences.

The run will incorporate various laps of a route following the bank of the access channel to the marina, past the Veles e Vents building, along the moorings of the recent challengers of the 33rd America’s Cup.

The triathletes turn around at the Clock Building, which used to be the headquarters for the Valencia Port Authority. They then retrace their steps to the finishing line.
