Sports Tours International is excited to announce that we have once again been appointed as the Official Sports Travel Partner for the third Abu Dhabi International Triathlon which will take place on Saturday 2 March 2013.
The Abu Dhabi Triathlon was a huge success in 2010, 2011 and 2012; drawing in many of the leading triathletes in the world who were all vying for the major prize money which was up for grabs – $250,000. Taking the honours in the men’s elite race in 2012 were Denmark’s Rasmus Henning and and Australian triathlete Nikki Butterfield. IMG will be working in close cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority to deliver an iconic route for the forthcoming Abu Dhabi International Triathlon. The route has been designed to ensure all athletes experience the very best that Abu Dhabi has to offer.
Also on offer is some unequalled prize money for age group winners, around $20,000, which is another great reason to add this amazing triathlon event to your 2013 race schedule.
