Virgin Money London Marathon 26th April 2015
ecords tumbled at the Virgin Money London Marathon today where more than 37,500 finished the gruelling 26.2-mile journey from Blackheath to Westminster, making the 35th edition of the race the biggest in its history by almost 1000 runners.
Of the 37,675 who crossed the Finish Line in The Mall by 18:10 this evening, three established new world records while no fewer than six course records fell on a day of celebration for Paula Radcliffe and triumph for London Marathon debutants Eliud Kipchoge and Tigist Tufa, who took the prestigious elite titles in style.
We had a great time at the Virgin Money London Marathon and it was great to see so many runners taking over the streets of London!

The Virgin London Marathon in 2014 was a great race with the men’s event won by Wilson Kipsang with a time of 2:04:29 with the UK’s own Mo Farah coming in 8th Position. The women’s race being won by Edna Kiplagat with a time of 2:20:21. Well done to everyone who took part, either by running or by cheering on and supporting this great event.
