The Virgin London Marathon in 2011 was a fantastic race with the men’s evenet won by Emmanuel Mutai in a new course record of 2:04:40, the fifth quickest ever run, with Mary Keitany moving to fourth on the women’s all-time list with her winning time of 2:19:19. Well done to everyone who took part, either by running or by cheering on and supporting this great event.

Sports Tours International do not have entries for the 2012 Virgin London Marathon. If you are an international runner wanting to enter, we advise you to visit the Virgin London Marathon website.

Travel Packages

As always, we have accommodation packages available for all marathon runners, their families and friends. Please note: these packages do not include entry to the 2012 Virgin London Marathon itself.

How it works for you…You simply decide how many nights you wish to stay and we do the rest. We will confirm the hotel you are in 10/14 days prior to your trip. Breakfast is ‘English’ and coach transportation is provided to the start of the race FOR RUNNERS ONLY.

If you are going home on Sunday evening and going back to the hotel, depending on the availability of rooms the Hotel may let you use a room for a shower to freshen up, and of course to meet up with your family and friends.
