Runners World Paris Marathon
The Paris Marathon is one of the highlights of the running calendar and with it now being closed to online entries, we are delighted to be able to offer you a place in the event.
Starting on the Avenue Champs Elysee, you will run past many of the famous sights of Paris, including the Place de La Concorde, the Musee de Louvre, the Bastille, Musee d’Orsay and the Eiffel Tower, before finishing on Avenue Foch.
Our hotel is in an excellent position for reaching the start of the race, and returning afterwards. It’s also nearby the start of the Breakfast Run on the Saturday morning from the front of the Ecole Militare at 8.30am.

For our Runners World travel package to the Paris Marathon, we are staying at the perfectly located Mercure hotel near to the Eiffel Tower on bed and breakfast basis. It is a very good standard of hotel and has many of the standard features you expect from a central city hotel, such as satellite TV amongst many other features. You have the option of making your own way to Paris.

At time of booking we require a non-refundable deposit per person, plus the full Race Entry Fee, which is non-returnable once booked. The balance of your travel package must be paid, at the latest, 12 weeks before departure to avoid the cancellation of your trip.
All events in France require you to present a medical certificate from your doctor with your entry stating there is no contra indication to you taking part in a marathon. You will need to produce this certificate in Paris at the expo to pick up your race number. By visiting Sports Medical Certificates, you can enter your details for an online medical certification. Sports Tours International can accept no responsibility for failure to comply with this instruction, and no refunds will be given. Also, to run in the Paris Marathon, you must be born in or before 1994. If you enter and are under age, your entry will be rejected, but your travel package will remain valid.

Visas are not required to enter France. You need a passport. As a British passport holder you may stay as a visitor for three months. General Travel Information is available.
