Run the Flash 10k

The second Run the Flash 10k in August 2012 was a great course starting at Leigh Harriers running track and going over great tracks around Pennington Flash.  

First home in the Men's event of Run the Flash was Jurak Gavura in a time of 36:59, closely followed by Philip Bennet of Rochdale Harriers, with third place taken Chris Smullen of Wigan Harriers.

Sarah Mackness was the first female to cross the line in a time of 44:13, with Tarja Barnes second and Liz McLellan third.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the event such a great day.  Without the help and dedication of the marshalls, volunteers, Leigh Harriers, Raynet, TDL, the guys at Pennington Flash and everyone else, we couldn't make the event as good as it is - thank you.
