Rome Marathon 2012

As you would expect, the Rome Marathon takes in all the sights from the Coliseum to the Roman Forum, as well as St. Peter’s Square, Vatican City, Olympic Stadium, Piazzale Popolo and Trevi Fountain.
The 2012 Rome Marathon will be a great race through the heart of this historic city, plus there is also a supporting family fun run (entered locally).

“The Eternal City” is steeped in history at every turn, from the Roman Empire, via the rise of the Vatican and the great Renaissance squares and fountains, to the modern Olympic Stadium. THE RACE: The course of the Rome Marathon takes in all the sights from the Coliseum to the Roman Forum, as well as St. Peter’s Square, Vatican City, Olympic Stadium, Piazzale Popolo and Trevi Fountain. There is a supporting family fun run (entered locally). Time limit 6hrs.
THE HOTEL: We will be staying at the 4-star Abitart Hotel, situated 2 Metro stops, a short distance from the Colosseum (the race start/finish of the Rome Marathon ), the Roman Forum and Piazza Venezia. All rooms have bathrooms en suite, and colour TV. American Buffet breakfast is included.

At time of booking we require a non-refundable deposit of £100 per person, plus the full Race Entry Fee, which is non-returnable once booked. The balance of your travel package must be paid, at the latest, 12 weeks before departure to avoid the cancellation of your trip.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Visas are not required to enter Italy. You need a passport or a National Identity Card (see the website of the Identity and Passport Service (IPS)) to enter Italy.
