The “Semi de Paris” The Paris half marathon will take place on Sunday 3rd March 2013. In 2011 and 2012 the route direction was reversed with a start from Bois de Vincennes and finished by Porte Dorée, taking in many of Paris’s famous sights along the way. This has been widely acclaimed by 23,676 finishers, with a lot of spectators along the Parisian streets to cheer you on.
Paris Half Marathon hotel package
The hotel: We will be staying at the 2 Star Hotel du Chateau. On the edge of Paris city centre and close to Château de Vincennes. The hotel enjoys direct access by metro to the Gare de Lyon station in 10 minutes and central Paris in 20 minutes. There is a private car park on site.
Prices:
Double Room, based on 2 people sharing, 3 nights, £209 per person
Twin Room, , based on 2 people sharing, 3 nights, £229 per person
Single Room, based on 1 person, 3 nights, £359 per person
Please note there is no twin share option on this package.
Marathon Entry Fee:
The Paris Half Marathon Entry Fee is £60.
Deposit £100 per person + race entry fee
Included in the price: – 3 nights accommodation at the Hotel du Chateau – Bed and Breakfast
NOT Included in the price: (not exhaustive) – Flights – Insurance – Entry – Transfers
There will be no Sports Tours International Representative on this trip.

At time of booking we require a non-refundable deposit per person plus any applicable entry fee. The balance of your travel package must be paid, at the latest, 12 weeks before departure to avoid the cancellation of your trip
Important Notice:
All events in France require you to present a form from your doctor with your entry stating there is no contra indication to you taking part in a marathon. You will need to produce this certificate in Paris at the expo to pick up your race number.
By visiting Sports Medical Certificates, you can enter your details for an online medical certification.
Sports Tours International can accept no responsibility for failure to comply with this instruction, and no refunds will be given. Also, to run in the Paris Marathon, you must be born in or before 1994. If you enter and are under age, your entry will be rejected, but your travel package will remain valid.

Important Information
Visas are not required to enter France. You need a passport. As a British passport holder you may stay as a visitor for three months. General Travel Information is available.
