Our travel package to the Mandarin Oriental, includes private transfer from JFK airport and lasts for 3, 4 or 5 nights.

Typical Itinerary

Friday: Arrive at JFK or Newark airports and there will be a private transfer to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. After check in at the hotel, if time permits, then make your own way to the Expo centre and register for the New York Marathon.  We expect there to be the Parade of Nations again in the evening in Central Park.

Saturday: Registration for marathon and or day free for sightseeing.

Sunday: Take a taxi, walk or run down to the Midtown Bus transfer point to the start of the marathon, then RUN THE NEW YORK MARATHON! Whilst you're running, your friends and relatives can watch the Marathon coming up Central Park South from the comfort of the Lobby Lounge which is one of THE very best places to see the New York Marathon. They can wait there for your triumphant return!

Monday: Check out of the hotel and have some free time before your private transfer back to the airport for your return flight.

With this VIP package, we do not automatically include flights, as we like to offer a personal service in offering both a particular airline and travel class for your own personal requirements. Please ask us to provide you with a quote for your required seats or if you wish to arrange your flights then you are free to do this. NOTE The above prices are per person and include your room only accommodation, airport/hotel transfers and reps services. The rates DO NOT include flights, insurance or the Special offer price for the guaranteed Race Entry Fee of £299 pp when you buy a travel package from Sports Tours International.

Deposit - In order to confirm your reservation we require the following payment at the time of booking £400 per person plus Race Entry Fee.

RACE ENTRY FEE: The New York marathon race entry is currently £299. This also includes your bus transfer to the start of the New York Marathon from the 42nd Street Public Library.  This price is a special offer when you buy your travel package from Sports Tours International.

At time of booking we require a non-refundable deposit of £400 per person, plus the full Race Entry Fee, which is non-returnable once booked. The balance of your travel package must be paid, at the latest, 12 weeks before departure to avoid the cancellation of your trip.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

PASSPORTS - THIS IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.

Please note: we will require a copy of your passport along with your application form.

Please – don’t leave it to the last minute. The following information is for United Kingdom passport holders only, other nationals including Eire should consult the appropriate embassy. UK residents are allowed to enter the USA with a ten year passport, with no less than 6 months left before the expiry of the passport, if staying in the US for less than 90 days. However, the rules are constantly updated, so we advise that you check your own individual situation as the visa waiver programme is subject to strict criteria, and for example, if you have a criminal record or have previously been refused entry to the US, you may not qualify for entry under the Visa Waiver programme. Please check your status with the rules.

Passengers are no longer permitted to enter the USA with a non-machine readable passport unless their old style passport has a valid Visa stamp. The newer red passports are machine readable. CHILDREN MUST HAVE THEIR OWN PASSPORT - If in doubt please contact the passport advice line on 0300 222 0000, or Passport Office Website or if applicable the American Embassy on 0207 499 9000 or the US Embassy Website

IMMIGRATION TO THE USA
