After the disappointing cancellation of last year's New York Marathon, we are looking forward to the 2013 ING New York City Marathon on November 3rd and once again we have guaranteed entries available for the New York Marathon.
The Belvedere hotel is a good hotel, ideally located just off Times Square in the lively Theatre District, and this is a New York hotel that we have used for many years whilst taking people to the New York Marathon.
It is close to many famous New York attractions, and right round the corner from Restaurant Row, so you'll never be short of eating out options!
From the impressive lobby with its marble surfaces, statues and fashionable furnishings, to the generous sized rooms, each with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning, hair dryer, iron and board, safe and colour TV with games consul, this hotel is a great choice for this location.
The hotel is also well situated to be able to stroll down to the Expo centre for race registration.

Also included in your full travel package are the services of the experienced Sports Tours International representatives, who will help guide you through the experience of taking part in the New York City Marathon. The team is on hand to help you and answer any questions you may have. Their help is PRICELESS! They will be meeting you at the airport; be there at the hotel to help with any questions; take you for a morning jog on Friday morning in Central Park; and walk you to the official bus transfer at 42nd Street, which we left at 6am for the start in 2011. We're there to help you enjoy and make the most of your New York Marathon experience.
Flights are operated by British Airways from London Heathrow. Flights from UK regional airports are also available. Please contact us for more details. We operate transfers from JFK Airport to the Belvedere on Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd for selected BA flights, and back to JFK from the Belvedere on Monday 5th, Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th, again for selected flights only. RACE ENTRY FEE: The New York marathon race entry is currently £299. This also includes your bus transfer to the start of the New York Marathon. This price is a special offer when you buy your travel package from Sports Tours International.

HOW TO BOOK

At time of booking we require a non-refundable deposit of £200 per person, plus the full Race Entry Fee, which is non-returnable once booked. The balance of your travel package must be paid, at the latest, 12 weeks before departure to avoid the cancellation of your trip.
Please note, lead in prices are shown on the basis of two people sharing a twin room. There is a supplement for a single room and there are reductions, where possible, for triple rooms and quad rooms.
PASSPORTS - THIS IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.
Please note: we will require a copy of your passport along with your application form.
Please – don’t leave it to the last minute. The following information is for United Kingdom passport holders only, other nationals including Eire should consult the appropriate embassy. UK residents are allowed to enter the USA with a ten year passport, with no less than 6 months left before the expiry of the passport, if staying in the US for less than 90 days. However, the rules are constantly updated, so we advise that you check your own individual situation as the visa waiver programme is subject to strict criteria, and for example, if you have a criminal record or have previously been refused entry to the US, you may not qualify for entry under the Visa Waiver programme. Please check your status with the rules.
Passengers are no longer permitted to enter the USA with a non-machine readable passport unless their old style passport has a valid Visa stamp. The newer red passports are machine readable. IMMIGRATION TO THE USA
There are now very strict guidelines on entry to the USA and a new system put in place whereby you must have registered with the Department of Homeland Security at least three days before you travel. More information can be found on the Department’s Official Website
