The French Riviera Marathon starts in Nice and travels through St Laurent du Var, Cagnes sur Mer, Villeneuve-Loubet, Antibes Juan-les-Pins and Vallauris Golfe Juan before reaching Cannes and is fast becoming a more popular marathon for runners from all over Europe, as 92% of your running time is spent running along the Mediterranean Sea.

On Sunday the 4th of November 2012, it is your turn to cover the famous French Riviera marathon distance between the “Promenade des Anglais” in Nice and “La Croisette” of Cannes. You will be supported by the 60,000 spectators who can see your name printed on your bib and will enjoy the warm welcome in each of the 7 cities crossed by the Marathon. The French Riviera is the perfect place for a running holiday and to stay for the weekend.

Our VIP package for 2012 is offered in conjunction with the French Riviera Marathon organisers and includes accommodation at the  Hotel, next to the finish line, welcome cocktail, advice on running the French Riviera Marathon, a coaching session on Saturday morning, an invite to pre race buffet, a runners Pack and transfers on the morning of the marathon to the start in Nice. TRAVEL PACKAGE

For our VIP travel package, we are using the Hotel Martinez which is right on the finish line of the French Riviera Marathon in the heart of Cannes. This World Class hotel is located on the famous Croisette Avenue, close to the Cannes Palais des Festivals and to the shopping district and offers breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea. The hotel is 30 km from Nice international airport and 1 km from Cannes train station.

Friday 3rd of November - Arrive at the hotel, where you are staying for two nights on bed and breakfast basis, with check in from 15.00 onwards. Your race number will be waiting for you.

Saturday 4th of November - Enjoy your breakfast, followed by a training session with a coach in the morning. You have most of the day to enjoy yourself and then in the evening time, there will be a cocktail over a presentation of the course and race strategy, before a buffet served in the hotel.

Sunday 5th of November - An early breakfast at the hotel, with a bus transfer to the start in Nice, departing around 06.00, in time for the race start at 8am. Non-runners will be transferred back to the finish line in Cannes and also given a VIP badge. Lunch buffet on Sunday at the Martinez opposite the Finish line. Late check out from the hotel at 15.30.

Runners also receive a special pack including their bib, backpack, timing chip, medal, finishers’ T shirt, towel and massage in a special part of the hotel.

PRICES

Our travel package price is £ per person for 2 nights and £ for 3 nights (based on 2 people sharing the room). You need to select the VIP runner option below if you are running. Single Room supplement is £ for 2 nights and £ for 3 nights. The VIP race entry is £60 per runner.

The above prices are per adult and DO NOT include the Flights/Transfers/Insurance. If you wish to book transfers between Nice airport and the hotel, you can online via A2B Transfers or Holiday Taxis.

At time of booking we require a non-refundable deposit as above. The balance of your travel package must be paid, at the latest, 12 weeks before departure to avoid the cancellation of your trip.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
