The French Riviera Marathon between Nice and Cannes is fast becoming a more popular marathon for runners from all over Europe, as 92% of your running time is spent running along the Mediterranean Sea, with average temperatures 12-14C.

On Sunday 20th November 2011, it is your turn to cover the famous French Riviera marathon distance between the “Promenade des Anglais” in Nice and “La Croisette” of Cannes. You will be supported by the 60,000 spectators who can see your name printed on your bib and will enjoy the warm welcome in each of the 7 cities crossed by the Marathon. The French Riviera is the perfect place for a running holiday and to stay for the weekend.

As the Exclusive UK Sports Travel Partner of organisers IMG France, Sports Tours International is pleased to offer a running holiday to this wonderful marathon, that starts in Nice and travels through St Laurent du Var, Cagnes sur Mer, Villeneuve-Loubet, Antibes Juan-les-Pins and Vallauris Golfe Juan before reaching Cannes. It is a joy for runners to run by the see. The course record is 2 hours 10 minutes.

TRAVEL PACKAGE

We are using a ideally situated hotel near the start of the French Riviera Marathon in Nice. It includes continental breakfast.

We have the option of two different travel packages of 2 and 3 nights.

Our 2 nights travel package price is £139 per person (based on 2 people sharing the room). Single Room supplement is £60 per person. If you wish to travel for 3 nights, the price is £199 per person, with a £100 single room supplement. You need to select the £40 entry fee below if you are running.

There is also a VIP hotel option.

Included within your race entry fee of £40 are chip timing, an Adidas technical t-shirt, a backpack, a medal and a return rail ticket from Cannes to Nice, so that you can return back after the Marathon.

The above prices are per adult and DO NOT include the Flights/Transfers/Insurance. If you wish to book transfers between Nice airport and the hotel, you can online via A2B Transfers or Holiday Taxis.

At time of booking we require a non-refundable deposit as above. The balance of your travel package must be paid, at the latest, 12 weeks before departure to avoid the cancellation of your trip.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Visas are not required to enter France. You need a passport or a National Identity Card (see the website of the Identity and Passport Service (IPS)) to enter France.
