Comrades Marathon 2011
For the Comrades Marathon, we are offering a 5 night land based travel package, enabling you to match this up with the rest of a travel package to South Africa.
The itinerary is
Day 1. Thursday 26 May 2011
On arrival at Durban King Shaka Airport you proceed to the arrivals area for your transport to Durban City Lodge where you will check in and stay for the next 3 nights. During the day you can take a stroll at your leisure to the Durban Exhibition Centre for race registration and shop/feel the vibe at the Expo! The rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 2. Friday 27 May 2011
Day at leisure. If you didn’t register yesterday, perhaps do this today. Or take the organised bus tour of the race route (refer to the marathon organisers for more details). Breakfast included.
Day 3. Saturday 28 May 2011
Day at leisure. Relax, prepare kit and self for the next day! Breakfast included.
Day 4. Sunday 29 May 2011
Check out and leave luggage with our staff in the reception area. Transport will be provided to the race start (journey time +/- 10 minutes). After finishing the race please see our staff at the race finish who will assist you to your hotel. Check in at Golden Horse Casino Hotel and relax. You deserve it! Breakfast included.
Day 5. Monday 30 May 2011
Try and straighten knees ! Transport to Durban City Lodge (journey time +/- 1 hour) is included this day. Rest of the day at leisure. Breakfast included
Day 6. Tuesday 31 May 2011
Transport to Durban King Shaka Airport included this day. Breakfast included.
Twin Room – £429 per person (based on 2 people sharing the room).
Single Room price – £639 per person.

HOW TO BOOK
At time of booking we require full payment, plus the full Race Entry Fee, which is non-returnable once booked.
As a British passport holder you may stay as a visitor for 90 days, but must have at least 30 days remanining on your passport. Also, you will be required to supply a yellow fever certificate that has been issued at least 10 days prior to arrival in South Africa if you have travelled from a country with yellow fever. If you do not have a valid certificate, you will be denied entry to South Africa.
