Below is a report of the 2009 City of Salford 10k

Thanks to everyone for taking part in and supporting the inaugural City of Salford 10k. It was a fantastic day with the men’s race won by Tom Charles, setting a course record of 33.43, and Jessica Riley winning the Women’s 10k race.

Thanks also to the Mayor of Salford for setting for the race and to Salford City Council for their support in staging the event. Also thanks to all the volunteers for making the event happen.
