K-Swiss City of Manchester 10K

Click To ZoomThanks to everyone taking part in the K-Swiss City of Manchester 10k. It was a fantastic race with over 2,000 people taking part and hundreds of enthusiastic supporters to cheer everyone along, with the legendary Ron Hill MBE and the Lord Mayor of Manchester setting the runners off at the start.
The men’s race was won by Jean Ndayisenga in a time of 29.22, with the women’s race being won by Salford Harrier Tessa Walker in a time of 35.03. We also saw great performances in all the other categories. You can check your own result by clicking on the link at the foot of the page.
It was super seeing all the young runners take to the track for the Toddler Trot. We hope this becomes even bigger next year!
We hope you all had the chance to visit the K-Swiss stand and try on their latest range of running shoes. Thanks to K-Swiss’s support in making the City of Manchester 10k such a great event this year and we look forward to working with them in the next couple of years. Thanks also to all the volunteers and marshalls who turned up to help, and everyone at Sportcity and Manchester City Council for their kind assistance, and also to Sweatshop Hyde, Sweatshop Manchester Arndale, Powerade and Take to the Streets for all the help they provided over the event. Plus, thanks to the charities for their help and encouragement of runners.
