Barcelona Marathon

The Barcelona Marathon takes in some of the finest sites of Barcelona, Catalonia's capital city. It's an ideal marathon to tie in with a short city break to this great city. Last year, over 15,000 runners took part in the Barcelona Marathon, so we're hoping for more in the 2014 Barcelona Marathon. It starts at 8.30am in Avinguda María Cristina and we are using a hotel very close to this to assist your preparations. There is also a breakfast run on the Saturday morning, which is free to enter for the first 2,000 runners, but you have to collect your bib on a first come first served basis. The Barcelona Marathon expo is also one of the largest running expos in Spain and worth having a look around.

At time of booking we require a non-refundable deposit of £100 plus the full Race Entry Fee, which is non-returnable once booked. The balance of your travel package must be paid, at the latest, 12 weeks before departure to avoid the cancellation of your trip.

Important Information

Visas are not required to enter Spain. You need a passport to enter Spain. As a British passport holder you may stay as a visitor for three months. General Travel Information is also available.
