We understand that some cyclists want to escape the British winter for some warm weather cycling training earlier than our March training camps and also don’t require the services of an organised training camp, so we have put together a training week for you that you under take at your own pace and on your own.

The camp will include airport collection, half board accommodation at Albir Gardens, maps and suggested training routes of the area. There will be no guided training rides.

Each camp is planned to last one week and each week begins on:

Saturday 18th February
Saturday 25th February
Saturday 3rd March

The Costa Blanca is arguably the best place in Europe to base your pre season training. It is a known fact that the weather is much warmer at this time of year than other European destinations, and is the reason why many of the top professional teams use the area for their pre season training.

The roads are of good quality and there is a choice of either coastal, hilly and even mountainous rides, with some roads going to 1,200 meters. This training camp will be based on the Costa Blanca at the Albir Gardens complex and is designed for those riders who want to get some early season miles in without all the frills of an organised training camp.

Albir Gardens: The hotel complex is set in beautiful gardens and also includes a heated indoor swimming pool, gym, tennis court, launderette and conference room. Each apartment is modern and equipped with a twin bedroom, separate lounge with double sofa bed, bathroom, kitchen, and balcony.

This training camp will commence on Saturday 4th February and departure dates will be every Saturday, the last departure dates being 3rd March.

Nowadays most airline companies are charging for the return carriage of bikes and will be charged at check in. You may book your own flight if you wish, but the flight must arrive and leave Alicante airport between 09.00hrs and 20.00hrs. If your flight times fall out of our collection times you will be expected to make your own way to and from the airport.

Your outbound flight will be on a Saturday, and our representative will meet you at Alicante airport on your arrival. You will be taken to your hotel by coach with transfer times at approx 12.00hrs, 15.00hrs, 18.00hrs and 20.30hrs depending upon final flight times and numbers.

At time of booking we require a non-refundable deposit as above. The balance of your travel package must be paid, at the latest, 12 weeks before departure to avoid the cancellation of your trip.

Visas are not required to enter Spain. You need a passport or a National Identity Card (see the website of the Identity and Passport Service (IPS)) to enter Spain.
