About Sports Tours International

Established nearly 30 years ago, Sports Tours International is one of the UK’s largest specialist sports travel companies, taking thousands of participants and spectators to sports events around the world, including the ING New York City Marathon and the Tour de France.

Over the years, Sports Tours has grown from its roots in running and has extended its wide range of sports travel products to cycling events and triathlon competitions; tailor made golf holidays; sports training camps; and corporate hospitality. Sports Tours is also the Exclusive UK and Ireland Agent for Club La Santa in Lanzarote, the world famous sports holiday resort. We also work very closely with Charities in the UK providing them with event entries and travel services to sports events across the world. In addition we are able to create bespoke sporting challenges to assist with their fundraising.

In 2003 we expanded through a series of acquisitions and in 2006, the UK’s largest cycling travel company, Graham Baxter Sporting Tours became part of our organisation, positioning Sports Tours Cycling as the largest cycling travel company in Europe.

We are proud to be the Official Sports Travel partner of IMG Mass Participation Sports, the only Official Tour Operator in Europe to the Tour de France and an official partner of the New York Road Runners. Sports Tours is also a keen supporter of regional events such as the City of Manchester 10k run, Two Cities Boat Race and the Tatton Park Triathlon.

We are members of ABTA and our air inclusive holidays are covered by the ATOL protection scheme.
