Daisy Chain
An estimated 535,000 people have autism in the UK and around 2 million people are affected by autism. This includes family members and professionals involved in the care and support of people with autism.
Daisy Chain is responding to the needs of families affected by autism and special needs across Tees Valley, providing services that cannot be accessed elsewhere. Daisy Chain while offering significant support to the lives of many families does not in any way attempt to provide services that should be provided by
statutory services. Our focus is addressing those needs that cannot be met by the public sector but nevertheless are crucial to the lives of families whose children have autism.
We hope that you can support our vision and provide valuable funding for this project through helping us provide valuable services and activities to children with autism.
You can join us in New York for the 2010 Marathon and help us fund raise. For more information please contact Nathan Money on 01642 531248, email him, or visit our website at www.daisychainproject.co.uk.
