Child Bereavement Charity
The Child Bereavement Charity is the UK’s leading charity that supports families and educates professionals both when a child dies and when a child is bereaved. Every year the charity trains around 5000 professionals across health care, social care, education, the emergency services and the voluntary sector. It also provides a support and information service, award-winning resources, an interactive website with online forums, and a Buckinghamshire-based family bereavement support service.

This is the most iconic marathon in the world, that weaves through the city that never sleeps! This marathon is known to have one of the largest crowds of supporters to cheer you on as you run past the Chrysler Buildings and Empire State. This is the first team that the charity has ever had in the NY Marathon and we would love for you to be part of it.
You can decide which package you would like to take with our chosen tour operator which could be a full package (includes entry, flights and accommodation), entry and flights package or just an entry package.

After you have entered the NY marathon and paid for your package you can begin your fundraising and once you have reached the targets below we will reimburse you some of your costs:
- Raise £1000 and over and receive £300 back.
- Raise £2000 and over and receive £800 back.
- Raise £2500 and over and receive £1000 back.
As part of the Child Bereavement Charity team you will receive a full support package from the charity throughout your fundraising and training.
