Bobath Centre for Children with Cerebral Palsy

If you are thinking of running in a sponsored event you must be reasonably healthy, you’re certainly active and will be looking forward to participating with thousands of others.
Life couldn’t be more different for children with cerebral palsy.
Cerebral palsy inhibits a child’s ability to move and control their muscles. This in turn can affect their health and restrict their opportunities to take part in activities most of us take for granted – like holding a pencil or talking on the phone – or running round the park with friends.
At the Bobath Centre, we provide specialist, individually tailored therapy with the aim of improving the quality of life for children with cerebral palsy so that they are healthy and active, and can participate in everyday life to the best of their ability.
So by running for the Bobath Centre, every step you take and every pound you raise will be helping to give a disabled child a better, brighter future.
You will receive a free Bobath running vest, fundraising pack and the support of our fundraising team.
You can support us through any Sports Tours International event of your choice, including:

ING New York City Marathon 2011
Berlin Marathon 2011
Etape du Tour (July 2011)
